This armchair was created for an exhibition at the Groniger Museum in the Netherlands using the same wood paneling as the adjoining Garden House. The slanted back and armrests make it especially comfortable while maintaining a compact footprint. This is an excellent example of Piet's "rustic formal" aesthetic and is anything but pure vanilla design and construction.
